Hello, Radiants! It’s time for another Cosmere RPG update, with a focus on fulfillment but a look ahead to what’s next. The teams at Dragonsteel and Brotherwise are working hard to deliver your Stormlight rewards while paving the way for Mistborn and beyond. We’re also getting ready to reach a whole new audience of Cosmere fans with our retail release!

Fulfillment Update

USA

Fulfillment in the US continues to remain steady! Right now, Dragonsteel is showing 65% complete on their progress tracker here, which means we’re through the halfway mark but a meaningful number of pledges are still underway. We’re still on track to finish fulfillment for the US by the end of this month, as originally promised.

We know it can be hard to wait for your order! As a reminder, troubleshooting questions can be directed to Dragonsteel Support, but we ask that you avoid shipment status requests until fulfillment is complete.

Canada

Great news! Pick & Pack confirmed that all Wave 1 shipments are complete! They will now begin replacement requests and late survey orders. If you have not received tracking for your initial order, please reach out to [email protected] for assistance.

Australia/New Zealand

We’re working with VR Distribution to ship all Cosmere RPG books within the next two weeks. VR is still awaiting a shipment of additional items – primarily miniatures and the Mistborn Deckbuilding Game – but we didn’t want to delay the core RPG books. There will be no upcharge for splitting orders; Brotherwise is covering this unexpected expense. For those of you awaiting those additional items, we appreciate your patience and understanding! 

UK & EU

UK shipments are 60% complete and continue to go out the door. EU fulfillment is beginning, with the first shipments headed to Spain.

If you have any troubleshooting questions about UK or EU orders, please reach out to Gamesquest Backer Support. However, we ask that you hold off on shipment status requests until fulfillment is complete.

LATAM

Shipments are approved and on track to begin today!

Asia/Rest of World

VFI is celebrating the Moon Festival and will resume processing this fulfillment project for us on October 8. Keep an eye on https://vfi.asia/hubs for additional hub status updates.

Retail Release

With fulfillment ongoing in each region and some regions heading toward the end of fulfillment, we’re setting our sights on the retail release of the Cosmere RPG! 

Our original Stormlight retail release date in the US was set for October 29th, but we’ve pushed the release date back two weeks to November 12th. The date will be later in some regions, but around the world it’s our policy to hold the retail release until after backers in that country have their rewards.

So why the delay when fulfillment is on schedule? We want the retail release to be as strong as possible in order to set up the long-term success of the Cosmere RPG. Retailer orders have been even higher than we anticipated, and to ensure we have enough stock for mass market and hobby retailers, we pushed back the release date to make time for an additional print run!

Digital Updates

All Wave 1 PDFs have been distributed to our backers, but there’s always another secret... Just last week, we updated our official CosmereRPG.com with a new free resource to help players who are creating their first Stormlight characters!

Quick Start Characters

The Cosmere RPG offers deeply customizable character creation, but sometimes you just want to roll some dice and jump straight into the game. That’s why we’ve created the Stormlight Quick Start Characters. Visit our Downloads page to find a ZIP file containing 20 ready-to-play level 1 characters! Open the “Introduction” PDF to choose a character path that sounds compelling. The introduction PDF also includes tables to randomly generate your Path, Name, Purpose, Obstacle, and starting Goal with a few d20 rolls.

Spanish PDFs

Our partners at Devir have sent us updated Spanish PDFs of the core sourcebooks, Bridge Nine adventure, and GM screen. The revised books now include their covers, the GM screen is easier to print, and the materials have been updated to incorporate errata. As mentioned in our previous update, we’re also working with Devir to get Spanish versions of Advanced Adversaries and Stormlight Scenarios sent your way. You should have an English version in your downloads for now, but we’ll send an update once we send out the Spanish versions.

If you selected Spanish as your language for PDFs, you can now check your BackerKit downloads for the updated Spanish PDFs.

Hello, Radiants! We have an exciting update planned for today: new e-supplements, FAQs and errata, updated PDFs, and wave 1 fulfillment updates! There’s a lot to go over, so let’s dive right in.

Stormlight e-Supplements are Here! 

New Stormlight content just dropped! If you check your BackerKit downloads today, you'll find two new PDF files: Advanced Adversaries and Stormlight Scenarios. If you’ve already been playing with PDF materials, they're a great way to enhance your campaign. If you’re waiting to receive the physical books, these e-Supplements can give you something to read while you wait!

Here's what you can expect to find in the e-Supplements:

Advanced Adversaries

New challenges await! Shaped by storms and war, Roshar is a harsh world that has forged mighty warriors and fearsome beasts. Face new threats in Advanced Adversaries, a supplement that includes new adversaries, variant Fused, new templates that can be applied to any adversary, and stats for Nightblood!

Stormlight Scenarios

A world of stories waiting to be told! In the war-torn world of Roshar, some battles are won with Shardblades and Surgebinding. Other challenges are overcome with a kind word, keen insight, or helping hand. Decide how you want to change the world in Stormlight Scenarios, a compilation of eight short adventure scenarios for Tiers 1-3.

Thanks to the generosity of our VTT partners, we're also providing free VTT versions of these two e-Supplements for anyone who chose one of the "Digital Upgrade" add-ons! 

Revisions, Errata, and FAQs

Complex roleplaying games require regular updates and bug fixes based on player feedback, and we’re ready with our first update to the Cosmere RPG. We'll continue to roll these out on a regular basis, but we're happy to report that all current updates are minor adjustments.

Revised PDFs

If you check your BackerKit digital rewards, you'll see that your PDFs have received a "version 1.02" update. Our team scoured the internet (and our trusty Issue Reporting Form) to identify issues and has updated all PDFs with the latest corrections and clarifications. Thank you to everyone who submitted feedback!

Errata & FAQ

Curious about the changes we made? Look no further than our brand-new Errata on the Cosmere RPG website! While none of these changes are huge, they correct typos and clarify rules across our releases. We also added FAQs to our website, which we'll continue to update as we see questions from the community.

Spanish PDFs

We've been working with our Spanish localization partner, Devir, to address some requests specific to the Spanish PDFs (including the covers being separate files). This will take a bit more time to resolve, but solutions are in progress. Please also note that while Advanced Adversaries and Stormlight Scenarios are not currently available in Spanish, we're sending the English versions to all backers and will follow up at a later date with a translated copy for backers who received the book PDFs in Spanish. 

Fulfillment Update

USA

The US is by far our biggest fulfillment region, but the Dragonsteel warehouse team is doing their best to get all orders out the door! Right now, Dragonsteel is showing 42% complete on their progress tracker here. While that tracker isn't updated every day, progress is continuous. Our team visited Dragonsteel HQ last week and saw the impressive fulfillment process behind the fulfillment for this campaign. We even packed a few orders ourselves!

As a reminder, troubleshooting questions can be directed to Dragonsteel Support, but we ask that you avoid shipment status requests until fulfillment is complete. 

Canada

Great news! Pick & Pack currently expects all shipments to be shipped out by September 30th. If you have any questions about your order, please don't hesitate to contact Pick & Pack’s friendly customer support team here. If you have not received any notification by October 1st of your package being handed off to the last leg carrier, please email Brotherwise support by filling out our contact form.

Please note that Canada completion does not include late or incomplete pledges. If you completed your survey after our July deadline, we will follow up with you to confirm payment and shipping details. This process typically starts 3-4 weeks after each zone's fulfillment is complete.

Australia/New Zealand

Fulfillment is underway, and all remaining orders are on track to ship within the next 4 weeks. If you order included the Mistborn Deckbuilding Game, you will receive it in a second shipment. That inventory is not expected until late October and we didn't want to delay your Cosmere RPG shipment. (We'll ship those as soon as they're available, and will follow up with a shipping update email at that time.)

UK & EU

As UK fulfillment continues at a steady pace, we anticipate UK shipments to be out the door in the next few weeks. EU shipments have begun the early stages of fulfillment, and we anticipate shipments continuing for 3-4 weeks.

If you have any troubleshooting questions about UK or EU orders, please reach out to Gamesquest Backer Support. However, we ask that you hold off on shipment status requests until fulfillment is complete.

LATAM

We have confirmation from QML that items for all LATAM orders will be ready to begin fulfillment by early next week. We anticipate shipments starting next week and will share a more detailed timeline for completing all orders in our next update. 

Asia/Rest of World

VFI is currently packing all orders and will ship them to their respective hubs in October. While VFI works diligently to fulfill this project, we want to remind our Asia/RoW backers that, due to consolidation requirements for shipments to certain regions, the entire process may take 6-8 weeks or longer for some complex addresses. Once the orders are handed off, backers will be able to monitor updates via VFI's hub portal.

Fulfillment Update & e-Supplement Preview!

Hello, Radiants! We hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We're excited to see the progress this week will bring, and as more orders begin to ship out, here’s another update on Wave 1 fulfillment. Let’s dive into it!

Fulfillment Update

USA

Dragonsteel is working at the speed of Stormlight and has already completed 28% of all orders. And many more continue to go out daily! For troubleshooting questions related to US orders, please contact Dragonsteel Support. 

You will receive an email with the tracking number from Dragonsteel as soon as your individual rewards are shipped, but we ask that you avoid shipment status requests until fulfillment is finished.

Canada

We expect all remaining Canadian fulfillment to be completed within the next 1-2 weeks. You might see “Out of Stock” on the Pick & Pack hub, as it is waiting for some additional inventory to complete these orders, but we anticipate the product arriving very soon. For troubleshooting questions about Canadian orders, please contact Pick & Pack Backer Support. However, please avoid requesting shipment statuses until the fulfillment process is complete.

LATAM 

Quartermaster Logistics is waiting for this inventory to arrive and it is on its way! In the meantime, we've submitted the necessary RFCs for Mexico and CPFs for Brazil, and those backers have been contacted by email. If you haven't submitted your tax codes and are in one of those two regions, please email [email protected] so he can collect your information as soon as possible. Once you've provided this information, we can move forward more quickly with shipping once the inventory arrives. 

EU

We have received word that inventory is on its way from the UK warehouse. We are working with Gamesquest to get these shipments started and have authorized orders be shipped immediately when inventory arrives. We anticipate shipping will begin in the next 1-2 weeks. 

UK 

Fulfillment is underway in the UK! We've started handing off orders to the final mail carriers. With a large volume of UK orders to process, we anticipate that fulfillment will continue for several more weeks. If you have any troubleshooting questions about EU or UK orders, please reach out to Gamesquest Backer Support. However, we ask that you hold off on shipment status requests until fulfillment is complete.

Asia/Rest of World

We have submitted and confirmed shipment information with the VFI team and can anticipate shipments to commence next week, beginning their journey to each hub. To check the status of each hub, please visit the VFI HUB page https://vfi.asia/hubs/, and to contact VFI, please visit https://vfi.asia/support/. However, we ask that you hold off on shipment status requests until fulfillment is complete.

Australia

Shipments have continued going out over the past two weeks! Our partners at VR Distribution moved quickly, and once the additional inventory arrives soon, we'll process the pending orders. There are quite a few orders remaining, and we expect fulfillment will continue for several more weeks. Issues with AUS/NZ orders can be directed to a support page here.

Stormlight e-Supplements available for download September 24, 2025!

The Cosmere RPG’s campaign energy still inspires us, and we are excited for the launch of the Advanced Adversaries and Stormlight Scenarios e-supplements that the team has worked so hard on in response to the incredible support you all showed us. These digital downloads will be available on September 24th via BackerKit and will be automatically pushed via an email from Backerkit to everyone who is receiving them. And for those who missed them this time around, they’ll be up on DrivethruRPG later this month as well!

Stormlight Scenarios includes seven easy-to-run adventures in tiers 1, 2, and 3 of the Cosmere RPG. From the Herdazian countryside to the depths of Urithiru to the cliffs of Marabethia, these adventures feature a wide range of characters, challenges, tones, and scenes. Each scenario is balanced for four player characters to complete within two or three hours, perfect for a one-shot or to drop into an ongoing campaign as a side quest.

Advanced Adversaries delivers new ways to challenge your Cosmere RPG adventuring parties on Roshar. On top of additional tier 2 adversaries, this e-supplement includes "upgraded" and "downgraded" Fused variants, Surgebinding modules you can easily add to any Cosmere RPG adversary, and one legendary item – Nightblood.

Cosmere RPG Fulfillment is Underway

Hello, Radiants! After our PDF pre-launch a month ago, we’re excited to be shipping the physical Stormlight campaign setting books. Our team will share regular mini-updates during the Cosmere RPG fulfillment process to answer frequently asked questions and provide updates for each region’s progress. Now that we’re about one week into fulfillment, here’s what we know.

Fulfillment Update

USA

Fulfillment is underway for the US! This is our biggest region by far, and we expect it to take as long as 10 weeks to fully complete. A week into US fulfillment, Dragonsteel is showing 8% complete on their progress tracker here.

Troubleshooting questions can be directed to Dragonsteel Support, but we ask that you avoid shipment status requests until fulfillment is complete.

Canada

We’ve received word from Pick-N-Pack that fulfillment is well underway in Canada. We’re expecting that there will be some lingering orders going out over the next two weeks as problematic orders are resolved and stock arrives to address any inventory shortfalls, so don’t panic if you don’t have your order yet. Questions about Canadian fulfillment can be directed to Pick-N-Pack’s customer support team at https://www.pnplogistics.ca/contact-us/

Australia/New Zealand

Fulfillment is now getting started in the AUS/NZ zone, but will stretch over several weeks and take place over two phases. You are more likely to be in the second phase if you ordered miniatures or painted figurines. Rest assured, however, that we expect all orders to be shipped before the end of September.

UK/EU

We are still waiting for a significant amount of stock to arrive in the UK/EU zones. Like AUS/NZ, shipping in the UK/EU is likely to take several weeks and ship in two phases, with our partner shipping stock as it arrives. 

LATAM

We expect to have all the products for Latin America in our Florida fulfillment hub in the next three weeks, at which point shipping will begin. Please be reminded that LATAM is not covered under the VAT-friendly policies that apply to other regions, and you will be responsible for duties on your order. We hope to have more information on this schedule next week.

Asia/Rest of World

We expect that Asia and Rest of the World shipping (coming out of Hong Kong) will begin in the next two weeks, but we also expect that it will take up to 2-3 months for product to fully work its way to some of these zones. Asia uses a hub and spoke fulfillment model where product is shipped to fulfillment partners in each country, and then they have to ship it out to backers. We appreciate your patience as our partners get this process underway. 

In Other News

While Dragonsteel and our international fulfillment partners focus on Stormlight delivery, the RPG team is hard at work on Mistborn! At this stage in the process, core design is complete. The approved Mistborn Handbook text is in early layout and final playtesting. The Mistborn World Guide is also written, Dragonsteel-approved, in early editing, and headed to layout next. Right now our playtesting focus is Mistborn Legacy, which is shaping up to be a truly epic adventure spanning both eras of Scadrial.

Speaking of both eras, it’s been very fun to see Era Two taking shape in the RPG illustrations. Here’s a fun depiction of a Twinborn making a daring Ironpull leap to stay hot on the tail of a getaway car. It’s this kind of high-octane action that makes Elendel such a fantastic backdrop for adventures!

Cosmere RPG Stormlight Fulfillment Starting Soon!

Happy August, Radiants! Since the last update, we've been celebrating the digital release of the Stormlight Campaign Setting and recovering from a very successful Gen Con where samples of the RPG were the star of the show.

This update brings fantastic news: Our original fulfillment timeline is on track, and shipping of rewards is beginning! As a reminder, we are only fulfilling Stormlight Campaign Setting items in this wave. Mistborn fulfillment is a second wave, and will happen in September of next year.

Included below are notes on last minute address updates. NO ADDRESS CHANGES WILL BE PROCESSED THROUGH BROTHERWISE AT THIS POINT, BECAUSE BACKER LISTS HAVE BEEN HANDED OFF TO ALL FULFILLMENT PARTNERS. However, please continue to direct all questions about digital rewards to [email protected].

Length of the Fulfillment Process:

Shipping is expected to take up to 10 weeks across all regions, including the US. Before reaching out to our customer support team, please review the updates and comments section for the latest information on your zone.

We will post minor fulfillment updates in our comments section for this campaign while we await more information for significant updates. You can also join our Discord community and ask any questions in the Kickstarter channels. 

Once you receive tracking information for your order, it may take up to 72 hours for the number to update as it enters the shipping system. Please refrain from contacting our customer service team during this time period, as we won't be able to provide any updates.

Zone Specific Notes:

UNITED STATES 🇺🇸

Since we have partnered with Dragonsteel for fulfillment in the United States, from this point forward, all U.S. based backers should direct their requests related shipments and physical rewards to the Dragonsteel support team.

If you have a last minute update to your shipping address, Dragonsteel needs to know about it right now. You can check the address we have on record for you by reviewing your backer survey at https://the-stormlight-archive-rpg.backerkit.com/backer/review.

You can then submit a support ticket at https://support.dragonsteelbooks.com/support/tickets/new. Dragonsteel support can assist with address updates, pledge questions, and address any concerns related to your physical rewards once they ship.

US orders should begin shipping as early as next week, but again, we expect the entirety of US fulfillment to take up to 10 weeks, so please don't panic if you don't receive a tracking email immediately.

CANADA 🇨🇦

Fulfillment for Canadian backers should begin next week! We are partnering with Pick & Pack Logistics for Canada and all Canadian backers should receive a confirmation email from Pick & Pack to update your shipping address. We've heard that these emails are already starting to go out!

EU/UK 🌍

Because of the longer transit times to get product from our factories to the EU/UK, product is still arriving at this hub. At this time we expect EU/UK fulfillment to begin sometime in September, as originally scheduled. Prior to that beginning, every EU/UK backer will receive an email from GamesQuest offering one last final address change and address confirmation. 

ASIA 🌏

Asian (and some Rest of the World) fulfillment is being handled by VFI in China. They should begin shipping to their local hubs by late August, but our past experience suggests that the total fulfillment process for Asia and Rest of World could take up to 10 weeks. 

AUSTRALIA 🌏

Australian and New Zealand fulfillment is being led by VR Logistics. VR has confirmed that the product has arrived and will spend the next two weeks processing the inventory and prepping the campaign. We expect fulfillment proper will begin soon after that. Prior to shipping, we expect that VR will send emails confirming shipping address. When we have a more firm start date we will update you all.

LATAM 🗺️

Due to the complexities of shipping to the many countries we have backers in in Latin America, we will be shipping all LATAM product from Florida. We don't expect this process to begin until mid-September. A reminder that LATAM is not covered by our VAT-friendly policies, and LATAM backers will have to cover import duties for their rewards (this would have been the case even if we had been shipping this product from within Latin America). You should check your country's duties percentage and compare to your original pledge level to calculate what level of duty you will need to cover.
