Hello, Worldhoppers! It has already been a week since we sent the digital rewards for Mistborn to all of our backers. You all have been posting a ton in the Cosmere RPG Discord server and Cosmere RPG subreddit ever since, and we're so happy to see all the excitement!
Today we're launching the digital items for Mistborn to the public, which means if your playgroup includes non-backers, they can get their books and start getting ready for your campaign to begin! Let's start with that news in today's very full update:

More Digital Goodies
As part of today's launch, we're also sending backers some bonus digital rewards:
Metalborn Sheets: Are you playing as a Misting, Ferring, Twinborn, Mistborn, Feruchemist, or Hemalurgist? We created some extra character sheets to help track your Metalborn powers! In addition to being available on BackerKit and DriveThruRPG, you can find these sheets on our website's Downloads page.
Mistborn Legacy Maps: If your pledge includes Mistborn Legacy, we're sending you a folder of complete map files. Whether you're printing them out or using them digitally, these image files will ensure you have great maps for every chapter of the adventure!
Those bonus rewards are being sent at the same time as this update, and will take several hours to reach all backers. (We're currently at 1,756,848 digital reward files sent for this Kickstarter campaign, and moving that much data takes time!)

Mistborn Scenarios & Showdown in Shadesmar
During the Kickstarter campaign, we had two stretch goals that were planned to be sent afterMistborn fulfillment, Mistborn Scenarios and Showdown in Shadesmar. Here's an update on those!
Showdown in Shadesmar has been moved to a 2027 release because the RPG team has made it cooler (and longer) than its original intent. Because it takes us to new places in the Cognitive Realm, it's requiring extra time from Brandon and Dan. And as we revealed in our State of Games in the Cosmere panel at Gen Con, Showdown in Shadesmar will now serve as a bridge between Stonewalkers and our upcoming 2027 Stormlight adventure, Tidebreakers. With that in mind, it'll be sent to backers ahead of that adventure's release.
Mistborn Scenarios is on track to release in October! Mistborn Scenarios contains a set of six short adventures ranging from comedic investigation to terrifying survival against the odds. There's something here for every group!

Spanish PDFs
The Spanish PDFs for the Mistborn digital items are in the process of being sent to backers who ordered them! If you backed in Spanish, you can get the PDFs for the Mistborn Handbook, World Guide, and Welcome to Roshar by heading to your digital downloads in BackerKit.
Our partners at Devir are still putting the finishing touches on their translation of Mistborn Legacy, which will take another two weeks. (In the meantime, we've provided an English PDF.) By the end of the month, Devir's pages for Spanish editions of the Mistborn Campaign Setting books will go live on DriveThruRPG!
Mistborn Fulfillment Progress
Fulfillment continues for several of our regions, and will continue throughout all of September and October. Here's how things are progressing:
The United States has begun fulfillment and is proceeding smoothly.
Canada, Australia, and Asia/RoW have all begun fulfillment.
Some Asian countries require Tax IDs in order to ship. If you're one of those backers, Matt has sent you an email on this topic.
Latin America and Mexico fulfillment is currently being built out. We have received all Tax IDs needed for the region and are building out the invoices now to assist with customs.
Freight ships were delayed to the EU/UK due to global shipping disruptions, but containers are landing soon and fulfillment will begin by the end of the month.
This is one of the biggest Kickstarter campaigns of all time, requiring global collaboration across an array of partners. We appreciate your patience as we work to get everyone their orders, and we hope you enjoy the digital rewards in the meantime!

Mistborn Digital Fulfillment
Since it's been a bit since the close of the campaign, here's a reminder of everything we're launching for Mistborn tomorrow.
Mistborn Handbook The Handbook is everything you need to play in the Mistborn Campaign Setting for the Cosmere RPG! It includes all our core rules and is required to play most supplements, guides, or adventures. This weighty tome inclides EIGHT new Heroic specialties, FIVE Metalborn paths, and a whopping 34 Metallic Arts talent trees! It's also packed with new rules for kandra and koloss-blooded ancestries, firearms, hemalurgy, setting-specific rewards, and more!
Mistborn World Guide The World Guide is a must-have for RPG players new to the setting and longtime readers eager for new canonical details! This book contains adversaries, story hooks, and imagery for locations both familiar and new across both eras of Scadrial. It also doubles as an art book, featuring over 200 illustrations from some of the best fantasy artists in the world.
Mistborn Legacy Oppose two generations of evil in Mistborn Legacy! This adventure spans two eras, as your actions in Era 1 (levels 1-6) affect the story in Era 2 (levels 3-9). We're so excited for you all to begin playing this, because we think it's one of the best campaign-length adventures ever made!
To help ensure an awesome experience with Mistborn Legacy, we're providing a treasure trove of bonus PDF content. All digital copies of Mistborn Legacy come with tokens, maps, player handouts, visual aids, and more! The Mistborn GM Tools PDF includes a chapter-by-chapter summary of key scenes, event trackers, required stat blocks, and more. There's even a comprehensive worksheet to track all the different connections between eras, so you can see how your group's choices in Era 1 ripple into Era 2.

Welcome to Scadrial In addition to the three sourcebooks, Welcome to Scadrial is being sent to all backers who pledged for the World Guide! This is a 28-page, spoiler-free primer for the world of Scadrial, so it is perfect to share with players new to the world or fans needing a refresher before playing!
Welcome to Scadrial will be provided as a PDF, while the three hardcover books are available as PDFs and as VTT content on Foundry, Fantasy Grounds, and Roll20/Demiplane!
Getting Your PDFs
We'll be sending PDFs via DriveThruRPG codes and on BackerKit. You'll have the choice to download from either location, but the DriveThruRPG PDFs will be updated regularly if we have any errata down the line. If your add-ons include a VTT upgrade, then you'll also receive the codes to the VTT you chose in the Pledge Manager process.
Stormlight PDFs In addition the Mistborn PDFs being sent, we're also sending the Stormlight PDFs retroactively through DriveThruRPG, so you can have your entire Cosmere RPG collection in one handy location. We'll work on sending the Mistborn PDFs first, since we all know that's the priority, but the Stormlight PDFs will follow!
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I want to add-on something I'm missing from the Mistborn list above? You'll be able to purchase all of the above PDFs and VTTs on September 9th via DriveThruRPG, Demiplane, Roll20, Foundry, and Fantasy Grounds!
If I see an issue like a typo or error in my Mistborn products, who do I tell? If you've noticed an issue with any of our PDF or print products in the Cosmere RPG, you can fill out our issue reporting form at cosmererpg.com/report-issues! By filling out this form, you'll help us ensure that we can address issues in future printings, digital versions, and errata documentation, creating a smoother play experience for all.
If my shipment arrived damaged and/or was missing product, who do I reach out to? Please reach out to our customer support team directly at [email protected]! We'll work with the fulfillment teams in each region to ensure you get your Cosmere RPG items!
Spanish PDFs
The Spanish-language PDFs will be coming in one week. Our friends at Devir have been working around the clock to get these translated, and have let us know that they plan to send us the PDFs next week! If you selected Spanish as your language, you'll receive an English PDF tomorrow and then the Spanish version once we have those final files from Devir.
So the surprises aren't over yet! You'll be getting these two products in future updates.
Playtesting Opportunity
With the Mistborn campaign setting PDFs reaching all backers, we have a fun playtesting opportunity! Our team is currently working on The Battle of Luthadel, a one-shot adventure that we'll be running at Dragonsteel Nexus 2026.
This is a 5th-level adventure that contains significant spoilers for The Well of Ascension. We're currently recruiting groups that include 4-6 players plus a GM. The playtest runs from September 8-27, so it's important that anyone signing up be able to schedule a 4-hour session during that time. If you're interested, apply to playtest by September 9/7 at 11:59 EST!
Mistborn Shipping Updates
US fulfillment is now in full swing, now that our Bridge 4% orders have wrapped up. Other zones are going to be coming online as well, so keep an eye on your inbox. Australia, you will be receiving address verifications as early as today, if you haven't already. Canada, you also should be kicking off soon, as well as parts of Asia/ROW. Units are still on their way to our partners in Europe and the UK, so it will be at least a couple of weeks before physical fulfillment begins in those zones.
As a reminder, all shipping addresses have been submitted to the warehouses! If you still need to update your address for Mistborn, you'll have to reach out to your region-specific fulfillment partner and have them update their databases. The Mists Rise! Cosmere RPG Phase 2 Fulfillment has Begun!

Backers,
We are thrilled to announce that this week, Dragonsteel began fulfillment for Phase 2 of the Cosmere RPG campaign. The Mistborn books, GM Screens, Deluxe Dice, and Mistborn Deckbuilding Games are already on their way to almost all of Bridge 4 Percent. If you were one of the last people to receive your rewards during Phase 1 of fulfillment, your products are already headed your way, or will be soon.
For everyone else, US fulfillment begins on Monday, with international zones soon to follow. We expect all zones to have begun fulfillment by early October. Either way, you'll receive a shipping notification email from your zone's warehouse when the order goes out the door or when it hits the carrier.
Note that for speed of fulfillment we've bundled a number of items together. In your email you may see references to a "Mistborn RPG Small Bundle" or "Mistborn RPG Large Bundle." The Small Bundle includes the Mistborn Handbook, World Guide, and Adventure, as well as the Welcome to Scadrial softcover. The Large Bundle has all that AND the GM screen.

We expect this fulfillment to go smoothly, but even the best of operations takes a while when 60,000+ people are involved. And to help ease the wait for your physical pledge rewards, we'll be launching digital copies to everyone on September 2nd! Keep an eye out for emails from BackerKit next week.

Gen Con, Mistborn Digital Fulfillment, and More

Hello, Worldhoppers, and happy August! The Brotherwise team has spent the last week recovering from an awesome Gen Con, but now we're ready to move on to something even cooler: Cosmere RPG Wave 2 fulfillment. We also want to chat about everything that went down at Gen Con, so today's update is going to be full of exciting news. Let's dive in!
Mistborn Wave 2 Fulfillment
Two years ago at this time, the Cosmere RPG Kickstarter was less than a week into the campaign! Somehow, time has absolutely flown by the last two years and we're already gearing up for Wave 2 fulfillment for the Mistborn rewards. More details below on fulfillment timelines:
Physical Fulfillment
In our previous update, we noted that the Mistborn products were "on the water," which means they were loaded in container ships headed to the US and our other hub countries. Since then, they've had to face the Stormfather himself; powerful typhoons in Shanghai and Eastern China slowed the ships' journey. The good news is that we're still on track to begin fulfillment in September!
In fact, Canadian backers might have seen an email from Pick & Pack Logistics over the weekend to confirm your shipping address. They sent that email a few weeks early, so you have plenty of time to reply and confirm, but it's a sign that everything's moving in the right direction.
We'll have a clearer timeline on fulfillment for each region in the coming weeks, so we'll send more information in our In the meantime, we'd appreciate if you refrain from contacting our customer support team for fulfillment updates.
URGENT notice to backers in Brazil, Spain, and the Canary Islands: Matt will be sending out an email in the coming weeks requesting your tax number (NIF for Spain and the Canary Islands, CPF for Brazil). For these 3 regions, you must reply to him in a timely manner so we can submit this information to our fulfillment partners. This is the same process as Wave 1, but we do not store your information for security reasons, so please reply to his email once it arrives. If by August 31st you have not received an email, please reach out to him at [email protected]
LATAM ADDRESS CHANGES: If you live in Latin America and have an address change that you have not previously submitted to Matt, please reach out directly to your region's fulfillment partners, QML. Digital Fulfillment
We're excited to announce that digital fulfillment for backers for the Mistborn PDFs and VTTs will be on Wednesday, September 2nd! The public release for PDFs and VTTs will be the following week (on September 9th) so you can start playing with any friends who didn't back the campaign. We'll send an update on September 2nd once we begin the code rollout for all of the VTTs and PDFs!
Gen Con News & Announcements
This was our biggest Gen Con yet! Each year, the Brotherwise team exhibits in the vendor hall with a large booth for quick standing demos and sales of our board games. For the last three years, we've had an event room that we dub "The Cosmere Room," where we hold all of our ticketed events and demos. Both were packed throughout the show, and we made some big announcements during our panel presentations!
Opening Ceremony
We started the convention as one of a few companies invited to participate in Gen Con's Opening Ceremony. Johnny and Jillian used the time onstage to make some big announcements and reveals during the Opening Ceremony! You can watch the full recording below:

State of Games in the Cosmere Panel
Each year at Gen Con and Dragonsteel Nexus, the Brotherwise and Dragonsteel teams get together to share the most exciting things happening for tabletop games in the Cosmere. Unfortunately, we rolled a Complication on this panel. Gen Con sold 200 tickets to the panel and mistakenly assigned us a 90-person room. We apologized profusely to the 100+ people we turned away, and Dragonsteel mobilized to record the panel. We'll post that soon, but in the meantime we hope you'll enjoy this recap and some screenshots from the presentation!
Chasmfiend Magazine #3 & Law and Obligation Available Online!
We debuted Chasmfiend #3 and Law and Obligation at Gen Con this year! Chasmfiend is our yearly convention magazine with exclusive interviews, insight, and behind the scenes information on Cosmere games. Law and Obligation is a new 16-page one-shot adventure for level three characters.

Stormlight: War for Roshar
One of the most exciting things we got to showcase at Gen Con was Stormlight: War for Roshar. War for Roshar is the next Cosmere Kickstarter launching on October 13th. This is an epic strategy war game that pits the Coalition of Honor against the forces of Odium. You can learn more about War for Roshar in this IGN Exclusive article!
We had the chance to show off War for Roshar to a few other gaming outlets, including GamingTrend, who gave War for Roshar a “Best of Gen Con 2026” award. During the War for Roshar Kickstarter campaign, we’ll also offer new Stormlight Premium Miniatures and the first-ever Mistborn Premium Miniatures set as add-ons! You definitely won’t want to miss out on this Kickstarter! We’ll have more details about War for Roshar and the miniatures leading up to October 13th.

Hello, Worldhoppers and happy July! We're back with another update today before the Brotherwise team is busy at Gen Con! We have some exciting news to share this month, from production updates to what's next for the Cosmere RPG.
Mistborn is on its way to fulfillment centers!
A few weeks ago, we shared that production was officially complete for all Mistborn Kickstarter rewards! Now, we are delighted to share that the Mistborn rewards are on the water and headed to fulfillment centers across the world! While you're waiting for your books, our manufacturing partners at LongPack made this video for us to show off the intricate production process for our Mistborn campaign setting products. Fulfillment Updates
Books being "on the water" means they're in container ships headed to the US and our other hub countries. Once they arrive and clear customs, they'll then be loaded on trucks to the fulfillment centers. Once they reach fulfillment centers, it generally takes a couple of weeks to pick and pack units before actually shipping begins.
As we did for Stormlight last year, we'll send regular updates once fulfillment is underway. Since our container ships are starting out from China, our Asia and Australia distribution centers are most likely (but not guaranteed) to begin fulfillment first. Once we get word from our partners, we'll send out updates for each region!
Digital Release
We are currently working on finalizing our digital offerings for the Mistborn sourcebooks and adventures, including our VTT offerings! As a reminder, the PDFs and VTT codes are being sent at the same time once fulfillment begins for the majority of regions.
Playtesting Opportunity: Military Campaigns
We’re looking for playtest groups and game masters (GMs) with a range of experience and setting knowledge to help us test some brand new content for our upcoming Stormlight hardcover adventure. That's right, a sequel to Stonewalkers is coming, and military campaigns play a key role in this war-themed adventure.
Coalition Army by Pierre Ignaszewski
With these new mechanics, GMs will be able to "zoom out" of a typical adventure to track conflicts in a region over time. The characters' actions during regular scenes, and their decisions as military commanders, can direct the course of an entire war. We also introduce new tools for combat, including "skirmish" scenes and "squad" adversaries.
This Tier 3 playtest is projected to take 3-9 hours, plus about an hour of prep, and begins Wednesday July 15th. Selected participants must submit their playtest report by Sunday August 9th.
