Exciting Times for Cosmere Fans!

Hello, Worldhoppers! In today’s update we’ll share updates about fulfillment, our latest Kickstarter, new Cosmere miniatures, and more. There’s never been a better time to be a Cosmere fan.
Stormlight: War for Roshar & Cosmere Collectibles
Last week, we launched Stormlight: War for Roshar on Kickstarter! We’ve had an exciting first week of the campaign with over 8,500 backers joining us and over $2,200,000 in funding so far. We’ve also unlocked 13 stretch goals already, with two weeks remaining in the campaign! If you haven’t already seen our epic trailer video, check it out:
As we mentioned in our previous update, this is a 2-in-1 campaign with War for Roshar and brand new Cosmere miniatures! These Stormlight and Mistborn miniatures are perfect to use in your future Cosmere RPG adventures. So don't miss the campaign!
War for Roshar is an awesome game that we’d recommend to any Cosmere fan. But if you’re just interested in the miniatures, you can pick the $1 pledge level. When prompted to “Select optional add-ons,” scroll down until you see the New Cosmere Miniatures Bundle. That includes the following sets:
Wind and Truth 7-Pack
Mistborn Miniatures 18-Pack
New Stormlight Miniatures 15-Pack
Gargantuan Thunderclast
War for Roshar is our last Cosmere-related Kickstarter for a couple of years, so we’re trying to make it as awesome as possible. We’re grateful for the opportunity to keep expanding our line of Cosmere collectibles, because the RPG is so much more than just a one-time project: it’s a game line we intend to support for years to come. So thank you for your continued support!
Fulfillment is Nearly Complete!
We have great news to share: Mistborn Wave 2 fulfillment is almost complete! Most regions have completed shipping, and the remaining are expected to finish within the next week. Here's where each region stands:
United States (Dragonsteel): Complete.
Canada (Pick & Pack): Complete.
Australia & New Zealand (VR Distribution): Complete.
Asia (Easyship): Complete.
UK (GamesQuest UK): Complete.
EU (GamesQuest EU): Shipping now, estimated to finish by the end of next week.
Israel (GamesQuest UK): Shipping now, estimated to finish by the end of next week.
Latin America & Brazil (Quartermaster Logistics): Shipping now, estimated to finish by the end of next week.
Please note that we are shipping Rest of World packages from the Easyship hub. Rest of World packages are estimated to ship out by the end of next week.
A few notes for specific regions:
Any completed region: All regions marked as “complete” have moved on to missing item and replacement requests. Please see below for next steps if you’ve received a shipment and need help from our team!
Latin America & Brazil: Some orders need a tax ID number to clear customs. If we've emailed you asking for one, please reply so we can get your pledge moving.
Asia & Rest of World: A small number of orders will receive their Mistborn Deluxe Metal Dice in a separate package, so don't worry if your dice aren't in the first box.
Missing or Damaged Items?
If something arrived damaged or is missing from your pledge, we're here to help. Email [email protected]with your name, a short description, and a photo of any damage, and our team will take care of you! Note that it typically takes us up to a week to respond to parts requests.
Stormlight PDF Updates
We’ve envisioned the Cosmere as a “living RPG,” one that we’re constantly reinvigorating with new content like adventures and accessories. That also means making sure that existing content is regularly updated. Last week, we updated all Stormlight PDFs on DriveThruRPG to the latest version: v1.03! This update mostly comprises minor bug fixes, clarifications, and typo corrections. We wanted to get these improvements into your hands as soon as possible. By the end of next week, we’ll update our website to call out the most significant updates.
Next, we’re moving our attention to the Mistborn Campaign Setting. As GMs, players, and partners find and report issues, we're working quickly to address these in updated PDFs. You can expect Mistborn PDFs to be updated by the end of December, along with an errata detailing the changes! Thank you for helping us make these books the best they can be!
Thank You!
Thank you again for such a wonderful campaign. It’s hard to believe we’re almost finished with physical fulfillment and setting our sights on new adventures. We’ll be back in early November with more information on what’s ahead for 2027 and beyond!

Hello, Radiants and Metalborn! We’re back with another fulfillment update, along with some big news about our next Cosmere board game and some very cool new miniature sets!
Fulfillment Updates by Region
USA We’re excited to announce that fulfillment in the US is complete! We’re incredibly thankful for the team at Dragonsteel for shipping more than 35,000 orders over the last 45 days. This is not a small feat by any means, and we’re extremely grateful for the hard work from the Dragonsteel fulfillment team.
We have officially moved on to Wave 1.1 for incomplete surveys and replacement requests. For troubleshooting questions related to US orders, please contact Dragonsteel Support.
Canada Canada fulfillment is complete! If you have any questions about your order, please don't hesitate to contact Pick & Pack’s friendly customer support team here.
UK Fulfillment has begun and is expected to wrap up by the end of the month. If you have any troubleshooting questions about UK orders, please reach out to Gamesquest Backer Support. However, we ask that you hold off on shipment status requests until fulfillment is complete.
Europe After some unexpected delays, fulfillment is beginning soon! In our previous update, we estimated shipments would start going out this week. Unfortunately, we underestimated how long customs clearance would take. Fortunately, we’ve now heard that the books are at the EU warehouse and Gamesquest estimates that shipments will begin next week. If you have any troubleshooting questions about EU orders, please reach out to Gamesquest Backer Support. In general, we ask that you hold off on shipment status requests until fulfillment is complete.
Asia Wave 1 fulfillment is complete! We’ve moved onto Wave 1.1 for incomplete surveys and replacement requests. If you have any questions about your order, please contact our customer service team.
Australia Wave 1 fulfillment is complete! We’ve moved onto Wave 1.1 for incomplete surveys and replacement requests. If you have any questions about your order, please contact VR Distribution.
LATAM Fulfillment is still underway, and is expected to wrap by the end of this month. If you have any questions about your shipment, please reach out to QML.
Rest of World Fulfillment is ongoing. Due to the complexity of shipping to some countries, we expect international shipping to take through the end of this month. If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please reach out to our support team by filling out our contact form.
Stormlight: War for Roshar and New Cosmere Collectibles!
Thanks to your incredible support on campaigns like this one, we’re able to continue expanding our line of Cosmere Games and Collectibles! Tomorrow, we’ll launch our Kickstarter campaign for Stormlight: War for Roshar! You can follow the pre-launch page today.
Designed by John D Clair, this strategic board game captures the epic war between the forces of Honor and Odium. Take control of iconic leaders like Dalinar, Kaladin, Raboniel, and Taravangian. Lead your armies into battle while managing champions, resources, and alliances.
Will you spread your troops to rapidly gather resources and Oathgates? Will you mass your armies to roll across the continent, crushing all armies in your path? Will you build a dynamic force capable of claiming temporary objectives? Or will you focus on diplomacy, turning nations to your cause and claiming their armies as your own? Whatever your strategy, remember your oaths and speak the words. This is the War for Roshar!
This campaign also features 39 all-new Cosmere Premium Miniatures! Get the first-ever Mistborn Miniatures Set featuring 16 iconic characters and creatures from Eras 1 and 2, the highly anticipated Wind and Truth 7-pack, the Gargantuan Thunderclast, and a new set of 15 Stormlight miniatures designed specifically for the Cosmere RPG!
Whether you back War for Roshar, the new miniatures, or both, everything is to be fulfilled in late 2027, just in time for the holidays.
Thank You

Solo Handbook Playtest
The Cosmere RPG team is once more seeking playtesters for the Cosmere Solo Handbook, whether new to solo play, or a veteran, forever GM, or new player, this handbook provides a collection of procedures, tools, bespoke content, and subtle changes to existing rules to help anyone play the Cosmere RPG without a GM—all ready for you to test with the hammer and anvil of dice and play! If you’re interested in the playtest, please complete this interest form by Tuesday, September 29th at 11:59PM Eastern! Those selected will receive an email with instructions on October 1st.
The Solo Handbook introduces a new character from Scadrial, a copper Ferring named Dulac. You’ve seen her work before: Dulac is the in-world artist behind the lovely hand-drawn journal pages in the Stormlight and Mistborn handbooks. Cosmere artist Marie “Lamaery” Seeberger used the solo rules to guide her misadventures, which serve as examples of play throughout the Solo Handbook.
Thank You
Thank you again for an exciting digital launch for Mistborn! With fulfillment continuing, we’ll be looking to November for the retail launch. We’ll be back with more shipping updates for each region as we get more information from our fulfillment partners!
Mistborn Digital Public Launch Today!
– Wed, Sep 09, 2026 at 03:43:21 PM
Hello, Worldhoppers! It has already been a week since we sent the digital rewards for Mistborn to all of our backers. You all have been posting a ton in the Cosmere RPG Discord server and Cosmere RPG subreddit ever since, and we're so happy to see all the excitement!
Today we're launching the digital items for Mistborn to the public, which means if your playgroup includes non-backers, they can get their books and start getting ready for your campaign to begin! Let's start with that news in today's very full update:
This is a great time to snag whatever you may have missed during the Kickstarter campaign and to get your friends and family on board for the Mistborn Campaign Setting. We'd appreciate anything you can do to spread the word about our digital launch!
More Digital Goodies
As part of today's launch, we're also sending backers some bonus digital rewards:
Metalborn Sheets: Are you playing as a Misting, Ferring, Twinborn, Mistborn, Feruchemist, or Hemalurgist? We created some extra character sheets to help track your Metalborn powers! In addition to being available on BackerKit and DriveThruRPG, you can find these sheets on our website's Downloads page.
Mistborn Legacy Maps: If your pledge includes Mistborn Legacy, we're sending you a folder of complete map files. Whether you're printing them out or using them digitally, these image files will ensure you have great maps for every chapter of the adventure!
Those bonus rewards are being sent at the same time as this update, and will take several hours to reach all backers. (We're currently at 1,756,848 digital reward files sent for this Kickstarter campaign, and moving that much data takes time!)
Check out this review from The Character Sheet, who (spoiler alert) rated Mistborn a 4.5/5! 🌟
Issue Reporting Form
If you're finding any typos or if anything is off with the formatting of your Cosmere RPG books, you can fill out the Cosmere RPG Issue Reporting Form, and our team will review it!
As a note, this is NOT where you should go if you have an issue with your order. If your order is missing something or arrives damaged, please use the Brotherwise Contact Form to get in touch with our customer service team.
Mistborn Scenarios & Showdown in Shadesmar
During the Kickstarter campaign, we had two stretch goals that were planned to be sent afterMistborn fulfillment, Mistborn Scenarios and Showdown in Shadesmar. Here's an update on those!
Showdown in Shadesmar has been moved to a 2027 release because the RPG team has made it cooler (and longer) than its original intent. Because it takes us to new places in the Cognitive Realm, it's requiring extra time from Brandon and Dan. And as we revealed in our State of Games in the Cosmere panel at Gen Con, Showdown in Shadesmar will now serve as a bridge between Stonewalkers and our upcoming 2027 Stormlight adventure, Tidebreakers. With that in mind, it'll be sent to backers ahead of that adventure's release.
Mistborn Scenarios is on track to release in October! Mistborn Scenarios contains a set of six short adventures ranging from comedic investigation to terrifying survival against the odds. There's something here for every group!

Spanish PDFs
The Spanish PDFs for the Mistborn digital items are in the process of being sent to backers who ordered them! If you backed in Spanish, you can get the PDFs for the Mistborn Handbook, World Guide, and Welcome to Roshar by heading to your digital downloads in BackerKit.
Our partners at Devir are still putting the finishing touches on their translation of Mistborn Legacy, which will take another two weeks. (In the meantime, we've provided an English PDF.) By the end of the month, Devir's pages for Spanish editions of the Mistborn Campaign Setting books will go live on DriveThruRPG!
Mistborn Fulfillment Progress
Fulfillment continues for several of our regions, and will continue throughout all of September and October. Here's how things are progressing:
The United States has begun fulfillment and is proceeding smoothly.
Canada, Australia, and Asia/RoW have all begun fulfillment.
Some Asian countries require Tax IDs in order to ship. If you're one of those backers, Matt has sent you an email on this topic.
Latin America and Mexico fulfillment is currently being built out. We have received all Tax IDs needed for the region and are building out the invoices now to assist with customs.
Freight ships were delayed to the EU/UK due to global shipping disruptions, but containers are landing soon and fulfillment will begin by the end of the month.
This is one of the biggest Kickstarter campaigns of all time, requiring global collaboration across an array of partners. We appreciate your patience as we work to get everyone their orders, and we hope you enjoy the digital rewards in the meantime!
